This small home and lot in Shaker Heights was in dire need of new landscaping. Waterproofing had been recently completed in the front and the patio in the back was virtually unusable as well as ugly. Since the client wanted to spend most of her time in the back, the front was designed very simply. Curving paver paths with brick edging were installed that echoed the brick work on the house as well as the color of the shingles. A patio with the same materials was also added in the back. The landscape was designed with low maintenance plantings that will change with the seasons.
